Tim Bowens, known to most Miami Dolphins fans as TimBo was a dominent force in the middle of the defensive line from the time he was drafted in 1994. Bowens did not just play defensive tackle for the Miami Dolphins, he dominated the line of scrimmage. Bowens earned The NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year by the Associated Press and played with the grit and determination that has yet to be replaced. He was forced to retire after the 2004 NFL season due to back injuries that finally took their toll.
